Five Tales Of Scoundrels, Heroes & Battlers

Over the years my dad has undertaken the mammoth task of mapping our family's genealogy, and in doing so has unearthed no end of interesting stories. Many of them struck me as the kind of subjects folk songs are often written about, so naturally I had to take up the challenge. The result is very much a folk record, but more in terms of ethos than in sound. Musically, I feel that the guitar work is the best I've ever managed in both performance and production, and the contributions from family and fellow Melbourne musicians are irreplaceable.
